Hannah Gates represents the spirit of resilience and purpose that defines the Levin College community. After experiencing homelessness as a young adult, Hannah found stability, support, and opportunity at Levin and Cleveland State University.
Today, Hannah is pursuing studies in communication and political science, serves as Editor-in-Chief of The Cauldron, contributes her voice as a board member for A Place 4 Me, and is preparing to continue her graduate journey in Levin’s Public Administration and Law joint program.
Hannah's story demonstrates the real, transformative impact of your support.
Invest in Cleveland's Future Leaders
For decades, Levin College of Public Affairs and Education has been at the heart of Cleveland, preparing students to strengthen communities, shape policy, and create meaningful change. Your Giving Day gift helps students access hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world experiences that turn ideas into action.
Your Impact at Work
With donor support, this year we:
Launched a strategic plan to guide our college into 2030
Expanded student scholarships and awards
Grew our mentorship program to serve more students and prepare them to be changemakers
Strengthened high‑demand programs aligned with the workforce needs of public, nonprofit, education, and media employers in Northeast Ohio.
Faculty and students continue to influence state policy, improve public safety efforts, shape education across our region, and advance communication that helps communities stay informed and engaged.
Double Your Impact
Dean Jill Gordon will match all gifts to the Levin College Annual Fund up to $2,600. Your generosity helps students thrive and strengthens the communities they serve.
Together, we can create change, one leader, one community, and one idea at a time.
