Below you will find answers to many common questions about Giving Day 2018.

What are the goals for Giving Day 2018?

Our goal is to engage 1,500 donors to help us raise $150,000 in 24-hours as well as to create a friendly competition among the colleges and departments.  

Where can I direct my gift?

You can make a gift to any area on campus - a specific department or program, your College's annual fund, University scholarships...it’s your gift, your choice.

What are the hourly challenges?  How can I participate?

Each hour throughout Giving Day, donors will be entered to win prizes during the hour(s) during which they donate to Giving Day.  Prizes range from tickets to sporting events, to CSU attire and money awarded to Colleges, Departments and programs.

How can I make a gift?

Make your gift to Giving Day via our Giving Day website: csugivingday.com.  Only gifts received between 12:00 am and 11:59 pm (est) on February 20th will be counted for Giving Day.

Is my gift tax deductible?

Yes. You will receive a donation receipt after you submit your online donation.

Can my donation be anonymous?

Your gift can be anonymous, simply check the appropriate box on the donation form.

What is the Annual Fund?

Unrestricted support is vital to the future of our students, providing support for scholarships, improved facilities, hiring outstanding faculty, and assisting us in creating innovative, engaging programming on our campus. 

 

How do I become an Ambassador?

Simply click on the "Ambassador" portal on the top right of the homepage.  Follow the prompts to register as an Ambassador and help us spread the word about Cleveland State's 5th annual Giving Day.  As an Ambassador, you will be entered to win exclusive prizes for those who bring in the most donors and dollars raised during the 24-hour period.
