Engineering Senior Design

Senior Design is a capstone project culminating the education of engineering students at Cleveland State University’s Washkewicz College of Engineering. All senior students in the eight engineering degree programs participate. Under the guidance of a faculty adviser, students work in teams to design new products in order to satisfy industrial, institutional, philanthropic, or community needs. Project ideas are generated by industry partners, faculty, students, and other external organizations.

Donations will directly benefit the students in several ways, including:

  • Prototype and materials funding for student-generated projects
  • Improvement of the facilities utilized by senior design students
  • Overall improvement and support of the senior design programs
