Doctor of Physical Therapy

Founded in 1974, Cleveland State University is one of the premier Physical Therapy (PT) programs in northeast Ohio. Our Doctor of Physical Therapy program provides a strong foundation for the practice of physical therapy, taking into account all aspects of patient/client management, current health care opportunities and disparities presented throughout the country and in Cleveland, as well as the progressive changes in our profession to answer the needs of current healthcare practice, professional autonomy, and patient preference.

The DPT program pays for ONE registration fee for a conference of their choice, for each student, during the three year program. However, there are students that are also working on research with faculty and struggle to pay for an additional registration or other expenses related to traveling to present their research. These funds would be used to support student researchers to disseminate PT research being done at CSU.

Thank you for supporting our DPT Students today!
