George L. Kramerich Fund Excellence in Engineering

The purpose of the George L. Kramerich Fund is to encourage dedicated and inspired teaching and engaged learning. The endowed fund was established in honor of Dr. George L. Kramerich, who retired as Professor of Electrical Engineering in 2008 and passed away in 2017.

Each year, approximately 1/2 of the available funds will be awarded to a faculty member in the EECS Department who has demonstrated dedicated and inspired teaching;  and 1/2 of the available funds will be awarded to a student or student team showing significant accomplishments in engaged learning, such as in a senior design project, research project, or involvement in extracurricular activities.
