The Urban Education Ph.D. program has been designed to prepare persons capable of applying current methodology, research and knowledge to the problems of education in a contemporary urban society. Students in the program are, or intend to become, teachers, administrators or other professional personnel in schools, community colleges, colleges or universities; trainers in business or industry; allied health educators, professionals in social and community agencies; teacher educators; and educational policy planners.
Your gift will support the Ph.D. in Urban Education: Graduate Student Travel Fund which aids students in:
Attending professional conferences - an important part of a doctoral student's professional socialization.
Affording the opportunity to attend symposia, present their own work, and network with others in the field is invaluable.
Supplementing the student travel support that CSU is currently able to provide - students will be better able to afford to go to conferences with your support.
Contributing to this dedicated fund for Urban Education doctoral students at Cleveland State is a great way to give back!
